This Easter holiday, we are offering a two day forest school community.

Far from offering childcare with different leaders and children each day, we want to use our skills to create a miniature community inside our forest. Building relationships takes time and a day just isn’t long enough to do it.

Join us for a 2 day child-centred community focused on play, intrinsic motivation and lasting memories. Activities are planned by Forest School leaders which may include group games, campfire cooking, whittling and woodwork, nature inspired art and craft, bushcraft firelighting and much more. However, children are able to choose how to spend their time with us in the forest - building dens, playing in our mud kitchen or climbing the obstacle course. Our guidelines are Look after Yourself, Others and Nature.

These days are for children to come along without their parents / carers.

Children will need:

• a packed lunch and drink

• full outdoor clothing with waterproofs

• lots of layers (and spare clothes).

Getting messy is highly likely and all part of the fun!

We ask please that children do not bring their own tools, phones, cameras or wearable technology. If any of these are brought, children will be required to keep them in their bag (phones) or in our cabin (tools) until the end of the day.

Each day is from 9am-3pm. Places are limited and in high demand. Bookings now open.
